This surgical procedure corrects severe hallux valgus deformities as follows:
This procedure is performed on an out-patient or short-term in-patient basis. It lasts 50 minutes. In a post-op shoe, immediate weightbearing is possible. Patients need to wear the shoe for six weeks; the screw can be removed after three months.
